Step 0: prerequisites

Setting up the Dynatrace account

Select or create an account which has access to all required and allowed Management Zones defined during the project.

Create an Access Token with the following scopes:

Access right Usage
entities.read Allows you to list the monitored entities.
metrics.read Allows you to read the entity usage metrics.
metrics.ingest Optional. Scope to give only if Dynatrace should ingest metrics.
