Introduction

This document describes the implementation of tools and necessary rights for Sopht to connect to a client's OCI cloud provider.

Questions to consider before following the procedure

How are the accounts structured in general? Is it relevant to share the structure with Sopht? ⇒ Provide an architecture diagram?
Should the data be filtered? By entity, BU, geographical location?
Provide the monthly invoice amount. This allows us to verify if the data is consistent in a second step
Is there sensitive information that needs to be anonymized? Or not retrieved?

Creation of a Sopht group and user

To create a user, go to: identity & security > click where there is the number of users > create user: create a specific user for Sopht. The email to fill is this one : [email protected]
Create a "Sopht" group.
Add the created user to the Sopht group.

Creating an API Key for user authentication

Go to: Identity > My profile > API keys.

Click on "Add API key"

Choose "Generate API key pair", then click "Add".

Make sure to note down the fingerprint and private key that are generated (which will only be displayed once). This information will need to be provided to Sopht.
